Karbonn launched A9 Mobile, an Android based smartphone, keeping the promise of bringing a high end mobile phone in affordable price range. Karbonn A9 Mobile is the latest buzz in the mobile market which comes in two color variants – Full Black and Ivory White.

Design

Karbonn A9 Mobile is a budget phone but when held in hand it gives a premium look.  The handset is elegantly designed in two different colored bodies with a touch of glossy finish on the back panel, which resists against fingerprints and smudges.

Holding the chassis is a WVGA Capacitive screen of 9.7cm which supports multi touch capacity and comes with the screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The display works reasonably smooth as compared to other mobiles in this range.

The handset is given curvy edges to make it comfortable for hand grip with a sleek look of just 11.3mm thickness. On the front, the handset is kept flat with no physical buttons; there are four keys on the display at the user interface including menu, back and options.

Performance

Karbonn A Mobile is powered with super-fast processor of 1GHz which is one the exceptional CPUs in the entry level smartphones array. The inclusion of 512MB RAM is little disappointing but you can experience faster processing and smoother multitasking with it.

The phone runs on older version of Google OS – Android Gingerbread (v2.3.6) which integrates intuitive User Interface and user friendly features for better experience. The phone comes with expandable internal storage which can go up to 32GB using external memory card.

Features

The phone is packed with 5 Megapixel camera which accompanies Autofocus to ensure sharper image quality. The Dual LED flashlight accompanied with the camera helps to take enhanced photographs in low light conditions.

The digital Front Camera lets you do video calling using Gmail or Skype to your loved ones. Get a 3G plan activated on your phone and enjoy some nice video calling sessions with your family and friends.

Moving on to the Internet connectivity, A9 Mobile is a Wi-fi enables phone with supports 802.11b/g/n for fast speed internet. The port allows maximum signal strength and commendable internet connectivity to users. The phone is also EDGE and GPRS supported.

For exchanging and sharing your files, phone is accompanied with Bluetooth and using its USB port you can transfer the data directly to the PC.

The phone is packed with 1600mAh battery which can give the talk time of up to 4 hours.
